Salamander eyes more platforms offshore Thailand

Bangkok: Asia-focused independent exploration and production company, Salamander Energy, is considering expanding the production infrastructure of its Bualuang field offshore Thailand with more drilling platforms.
The company expects to get the approval for a next phase development by mid-2014, with the first production in 2016.
The output is estimated to be 15,000 barrels of oil per day when the new facilities are put into operation, the company said.
