Singapore: Keppel Logistics has established Keppel Logistics (Australia), a new subsidiary company in Australia.

Keppel Logistics (Australia) manages a 10,000-m2 warehouse just outside Brisbane, which commenced operation in August.

The warehouse currently serves as a regional distribution centre serving the Australia and New Zealand markets for global publishing company Wiley.

Keppel Logistics (Australia) provides warehouse management and local transportation services for the publisher. The facility is expected to handle more than 2m books per annum, Keppel says.

Last year, Keppel Logistics agreed to provide Wiley Singapore with similar services in Singapore, serving the ASEAN market.

Singapore-based Keppel Logistics is a subsidiary of Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation.
