Indonesian vessel towed to likely scrapping destination

Bangkok: MV Gladys, which ran aground four months ago to the day in Myanmar waters in the Bay of Bengal, has been towed to the outer anchorage area of Chittagong port, as it awaits to hear its destiny, a likely scrapping candidate.

The Indonesian owned vessel suffered power failure following flooding in the engine room.
